Indonesia BMW MINI sales center open - Automaker BMW Indonesia plans toopen the first MINI car sales center in the country in mid-November this year.
"For the first stage, we will open a sales center at the mall in Jakarta. Only then,plans to open a permanent sales center in June next year," said Communications Director of BMW Group Indonesia Helena Abidin.
Besides aiming at Jakarta markets, Helena said BMW also will set up a sales center in Surabaya and Bali.
Helena said that since its introduction in the auto show last July, will the publicdemand for the MINI has increased significantly.
"People who are interested to have a MINI is able to make a reservation startingin November," he continued.
Mini Cooper marketed in several variants, including Hatch, Convertible, Clubman,and the Countryman. In the UK, this car is marketed with two types of engines,namely gasoline and diesel. Nevertheless, more diesel-engined variant. Therewas a gasoline engine for Soho Mini Clubman.
"For Indonesia itself will be marketed two models of the Cooper and JCW. Eachis sold at a price of Rp446 million and Rp679 million," he explained.
